The main therapeutic factor of the sanatorium is Obukhov mineral sodium chloride water. It consists of silver, aluminum, boron, cobalt, iron, titanium, manganese, bromine, and a significant amount of copper. Mineral water has effective medicinal properties, it is used as a therapeutic agent in the appointment of therapy and treatment for many diseases of the kidneys and urinary system, liver and biliary tract, gastrointestinal tract, skin diseases. Water intake is organized in the pump room.

Department of Medical Rehabilitation:

A medical rehabilitation department has been opened on the basis of the sanatorium. The main task of the department is to overcome the consequences of intervention after removal of kidney stones:

• elimination of stone fragments from the body;
• restoration of a normal life rhythm, including exercise and nutrition.

Rehabilitation is carried out at the expense of compulsory medical insurance, free of charge for citizens of the Russian Federation on the basis of referral for treatment.

Samotsvet Health Resort

The main therapeutic factor is the sapropel of Lake Moltaevo. The lake is 15 km from the sanatorium. In the Samotsvet Health Resort there is a special department for the extraction, storage and preparation of dirt for use. Mud treatment is included in almost all treatment programs of the sanatorium.
